Welcome to Numeracy In Action website, where educational and mathematical development go hand in hand. Our tailored focus on "measurement" to support children from foundation through to grade 2 means that every child has an opportunity to develop the proficiency strands; understanding, fluency, problem solving and reasoning capabilities developed by the Australian  Curriculum Mathematics.

The proficiencies reinforce the significance of working mathematically within the content and describe how the content is explored or developed. They provide the language to build in the developmental aspects of the learning of mathematics.

This wonderful website includes a mathematics educatonal package of resources, including physical and digital, that could be used to for learners' who require support or extension in the content strand Measurement and Geometry focusing on the sub strand of using units of measurment. The package includes  differentiation strategies to ensure effective learning for a diverse range of learners.
